Back to school

A fast post about back to school. McKenna worked hard to replicate herself for back to school night so when we walked into her class it looked like she was sitting in her seat. They had to take their own clothes from home. I thought she did a great job with it and wanted to share.

First day of school

One 3rd grader, one kindergartner one pre preschooler and one emotional mom! I have always had a hard time saying bye to McKenna on the first WEEK of school and now saying goodbye to two of them.. OH MAN!! talk about cry baby, I would blame it on the pregnancy but I know its just me being emotional. I am so blessed that my kids are growing and learning so good, and now that this post is late I have realized how nice it is to have them in school. Teegan has calmed down a little since starting school and is not so CRAZY wild all day everyday now. He was so BIG and PROUD to be going to school, on the first day is was up and ready with in min, he scarfed his breakfast down and was so ahead of time that it was hard on him to wait for the bus for over 25 min before it would be here. Kenna got up and was excited also however having done is a few years now she knew what to expect and the thing she was worried most about was helping Teegan get to his classroom and then making sure her cousin was on the bus with her the first few days of school. ( he comes here after school) She is so mature and responsible and I am very proud of her for being so great and helpful with the little ones.

Camping

Here are some pictures from kilgore when we went camping for Grandma Kaye reunion. We were not able to make it last year so I was really glad we were able to go this year. We celebrated Kaybree 2nd birthday while we were there also. Happy Birthday princess, we love you so much. You are a true blessing to our family. You like to read books, paint, do your hair and make up, and torture your older siblings. You have so much spunk that I dont know what to do with ya most days, but you sure keep me on my toes. LOVE YOU!! Thanks everyone for the fun time, and great food.

More lessons

This is some pictures from the kids second session of swimming lessons. I was so excited that Taylor was able to join in on the lessons with us. :) She did SO GOOD!! I was very proud of all the kids, I tried very hard to get good pic but they didnt turn out that great. Thanks Holly and Brian for letter her stay. The teacher is AMAZING and SO good with my kids, trying to get them in as many lessons with him as we can before Dec when he moves. As of right now I only have them in one more time... He is very booked.

Family reunion

Long over due for this post... Our family reunion. Growing up we would have big family reunions at Grandma Parks house that were so much fun. Water volley ball was just the thing to do. :) Since it was Bryce and I year to plan we decided to stay home and do a carnival. We had face painting, swimming, bounce house, snow cones, games and so much FUN! We really enjoyed it and only hope that everyone else had as much fun as we did. Thanks everyone for coming.

Luthy Reunion

For the Luthy Family reunion this year we went camping in Island Park and spent the day Saturday in West Yellowstone. I was so excited to learn that this is what we were doing since I havent been in close to 10 years, and Bryce and I had discussed taking the kids there this summer anyways. Well if only things in this world perfect.... there were SO many dang people there that we were at the park for close to 8 hours and only made it to see old faithful and up to mammoth. Oh boy it was CROWDED!! We only saw 3 buffalo and a few elk up in the town of mammoth. Oh well guess we will get to go again. ( My kids have been begging me to take them to bear world, and I kept telling them that West was way more fun.... well after the trip there they said " see mom you should have just taken us to bear world." "Its closer and we could have at least seen a bear") I agree kids.! Besides the darn mosquitos that were thicker than trees, camping was fun. Kids spent hours in the creak building a dam. Sunday we got to go back to West and walk around....only my candy store and the ice cream place were CLOSED! WHAT!!! that is why I pushed for us to go back up there. OH WELL.....we had fun anyways. Thanks everyone for the great weekend, and great food!
