Back to school

A fast post about back to school. McKenna worked hard to replicate herself for back to school night so when we walked into her class it looked like she was sitting in her seat. They had to take their own clothes from home. I thought she did a great job with it and wanted to share.

First day of school

One 3rd grader, one kindergartner one pre preschooler and one emotional mom! I have always had a hard time saying bye to McKenna on the first WEEK of school and now saying goodbye to two of them.. OH MAN!! talk about cry baby, I would blame it on the pregnancy but I know its just me being emotional. I am so blessed that my kids are growing and learning so good, and now that this post is late I have realized how nice it is to have them in school. Teegan has calmed down a little since starting school and is not so CRAZY wild all day everyday now. He was so BIG and PROUD to be going to school, on the first day is was up and ready with in min, he scarfed his breakfast down and was so ahead of time that it was hard on him to wait for the bus for over 25 min before it would be here. Kenna got up and was excited also however having done is a few years now she knew what to expect and the thing she was worried most about was helping Teegan get to his classroom and then making sure her cousin was on the bus with her the first few days of school. ( he comes here after school) She is so mature and responsible and I am very proud of her for being so great and helpful with the little ones.

Camping

Here are some pictures from kilgore when we went camping for Grandma Kaye reunion. We were not able to make it last year so I was really glad we were able to go this year. We celebrated Kaybree 2nd birthday while we were there also. Happy Birthday princess, we love you so much. You are a true blessing to our family. You like to read books, paint, do your hair and make up, and torture your older siblings. You have so much spunk that I dont know what to do with ya most days, but you sure keep me on my toes. LOVE YOU!! Thanks everyone for the fun time, and great food.

More lessons

This is some pictures from the kids second session of swimming lessons. I was so excited that Taylor was able to join in on the lessons with us. :) She did SO GOOD!! I was very proud of all the kids, I tried very hard to get good pic but they didnt turn out that great. Thanks Holly and Brian for letter her stay. The teacher is AMAZING and SO good with my kids, trying to get them in as many lessons with him as we can before Dec when he moves. As of right now I only have them in one more time... He is very booked.

Family reunion

Long over due for this post... Our family reunion. Growing up we would have big family reunions at Grandma Parks house that were so much fun. Water volley ball was just the thing to do. :) Since it was Bryce and I year to plan we decided to stay home and do a carnival. We had face painting, swimming, bounce house, snow cones, games and so much FUN! We really enjoyed it and only hope that everyone else had as much fun as we did. Thanks everyone for coming.

Luthy Reunion

For the Luthy Family reunion this year we went camping in Island Park and spent the day Saturday in West Yellowstone. I was so excited to learn that this is what we were doing since I havent been in close to 10 years, and Bryce and I had discussed taking the kids there this summer anyways. Well if only things in this world perfect.... there were SO many dang people there that we were at the park for close to 8 hours and only made it to see old faithful and up to mammoth. Oh boy it was CROWDED!! We only saw 3 buffalo and a few elk up in the town of mammoth. Oh well guess we will get to go again. ( My kids have been begging me to take them to bear world, and I kept telling them that West was way more fun.... well after the trip there they said " see mom you should have just taken us to bear world." "Its closer and we could have at least seen a bear") I agree kids.! Besides the darn mosquitos that were thicker than trees, camping was fun. Kids spent hours in the creak building a dam. Sunday we got to go back to West and walk around....only my candy store and the ice cream place were CLOSED! WHAT!!! that is why I pushed for us to go back up there. OH WELL.....we had fun anyways. Thanks everyone for the great weekend, and great food!

4th of July

Like every year we ended up at the Rexburg parade. McKenna was in the parade with her dance team. We go to visit with Grandma Kaye , Heidi, Kaylynn, Kirk, and the kids. Afterwards we hung out and ate lunch. Thanks everyone for the visit and BIG thanks to Grandma for always making room for everyone to sit at the Sr. Center. After the parade we ran some came home let the kids take a nap and headed to green canyon with the Luthy family, ( well all except Bryce and Logan, they went biking) We ended up only having to share the whole place with like 5 other people who stayed in the hot tubs. SWEET!! Then we all returned to Jeff and Sallys home for dinner. Bryce and I took the kids to see the fireworks after the rodeo... BAD IDEA!! It took FOREVER for them to start we sat waiting for almost 2 hours, kids thought sitting on top of the car was fun. I think next year we will head to Jackson or I.F. mom said Jackson had some really good ones. Thanks everyone for making our 4th of July so fun and laid back.

Lazer Tag

I know these pictures are NOT the best. I took my kids to the craze zone, park, ice cream and just a day spent with them doing all the fun things that they wanted to do. I know I spend all day with them anyways but it sure is more fun when I get to treat them to something so special and see the excitement in their little faces when they get to decide what we do for the whole day. Kaybree was a little lost in lazer tag but really enjoyed the arcades and mini golf. P.S. Lazer tag with only your kids in the whole place... Not so much fun.

Swimming Lessons

I was SO thankful to finally get my kids in swimming lessons this summer. They went to Rexburg Rehabilitation Center , the instructor there was AMAZING my kids learned so much in just the 2 weeks they were there. I tried to sign them up again and they were booked, so I got them on the list to start on Oct 24. BOOO I didnt want to have to wait that long. THANK GOODNESS someone dropped out and we were able to get them in lessons again starting on Aug 1st YEAH!~~

sideways movie

Sorry this is side ways , cant get it to rotate. Kaybree has really liked her babies for a while now. We were in Ut. and on our way there Kaybree was so mad in the car so I stopped off to get her something to play with. This baby was $5.00 and it giggled and laughed if you squized its feet or tummy. She would make it laugh and then tell it to shush. At the very end she gives it the evil eye.. Oh Kaybree how you make us laugh. Kaybree really does have a fun personality if only she would let everyone see it.

Lagoon

After McKenna was done dancing at the Lagoon competition we were able to play for hours on the rides, have a picnic, play in the water, and have a FUN time. Thanks everyone who was able to come with us. All the kids had a blast. Bridger was a little hesitant to do the new rollarcoaster but I finally convinced him it would be ok and once we got off that is what he kept wanting to ride. He was my riding buddy for most of the time. Love ya Bridger man. Addi had to be sweet talked a few times and she seems a little nervous while the ride was going and then when we got off she was all giggles and wanted to ride again. Taylor and Brilyn had a blast like always and so did my kids. Taylor and Mckenna think they are all grown up and just kept begging to go on things alone... NOPE didnt happen. Sorry girls.
