pumpkins

Last night we carved pumpkins with the kids. The both wanted a scary face, so after all the time cleaning them out and helping the kids with their pumpkins I decided that I wasnt going to do anything to artsy with mine. We had all sorts of tools out to carve them. Bryce did most of the carving with his sawsall. I am sure that I didnt spell that right but oh well. We had a great night with our family just getting messy and spending time together.

Tea Party

Miss Chyanne was watching over our toddler class for a few weeks and she decided to have a tea party with the children. Teegan got all dressed up like an elephant and was so polite during the party. How fun it is when teachers get involved with their students. I love working with children beacause I can act like a total goofball and they think it is GREAT!!! I break into song or dance at anytime in the day and feel totaly fine about it, and the children love to get involved with me as well. :)

Field Trip to ZOO!!!

Going to the Zoo was McKennas very first school field trip. On the bus ride down McKenna started feeling ill, she ended up throwing up on herself and her friend sitting next to her. She was very embarrassed, I felt so bad for her. I am just so grateful that I have a job that allows me to rearrange things to be able to be with my children whenever they need me. McKenna was so happy that I was able to go with her class. Our favorite animals at the zoo were the monkeys. They were so funny and loved all the blond hair kids. The monkeys kept hitting at the glass to get our attention. Over all we had a wonderful day.

Girls Night

Girls Night Out...

Once a month the girls at my work and I get together and go out, away from kids, husbands (boyfriends) and relieve some stress. We should do it about once a week after some of the days we have at the daycare. This is a picture of Chyanne and I on our way to the Olive Garden in Idaho Falls. This was taken a while ago, but since it is a cute pic, and I am just figuring out this blog thing I thought that I would post it.

This week I have the joy of watching Holly and Brians little girls. They are so sweet, Holly says that BriPie is a snake, however she is very sweet when her mommy is not around. Teegan has enjoyed having Brilyn here, he finally has someone his size to play with. We are working on potty training Teegan and Brilyn and I bought a bag of suckers to give to them each time they go in the potty, Brilyn is doing well and Teegan is doing well to try and steal Brilyns sucker when she get one, Teegan has not been able to get his own. How frustrating it is to me not to have him potty trained yet.

McKenna has loved having Taylor here, they miss each other so much that neither one can leave the room without having the other follow. They have done well keeping their little siblings shut out of McKennas room. The big sisters have been lots of help when I have needed it, they help me get the little ones dressed, and other various things. They also are very helpful to try and be "Mommy's" to Teegan and Brilyn when they are playing house and I have to play grandma and babysit the " babies". I usually offer to babysit for them, that way it saves me from having to rescue Teegan and Brilyn when the girls are holding them down trying to make them play house.

Today we did a photo shoot( a very fast one) the oldest kids wanted to have their pictures taken for modeling. So we spent a long while deciding what to wear. Then they picked out something very simple and matching. They informed me that tomorrow they will be having a swimsuit photo shoot. Oh gosh!! What a wonderful group of kids, my life would be so boring without all the fun things these kids come up with. :)
